We just had a patrolman shot earlier today. Just outside of Cortez, Colorado. Only info I have about his name is Patrolman Chris. He was shot by a man driving a silver Buick Skylark, 80's model with Texas plates # 3NPWY.

Please pray for the officer (for life), and for the capture of the shooter.

This is probably a REAL LONG SHOT, but we had 9 repeat 9 armed robberies before 8:00AM in Dallas this morning. Man was described as black, wearing a mask, and driving a white cadilac(Buick?). Driving at high speed and with the time change, a perp could have made Cortez. Probably no connection, but the Dallas perp had at least 9 reasons to leave in a hurry.

Latest news has 3 suspects. One is said to have shot himself and is at the hospital now. Officer is being flown to GrandJunction Colorado. This is not confirmed information. I am trying to get confirmation!! Thankyou all for your prayers.

3NPWY Doesn't sound like a Texas plate, they are 3x3 i.e. "742 CHN", for normal non specialty passenger car plates.

That may be what a witness thought they saw. It is also what our local radio station is broadcasting. I will try to see if there is an update on it.

Thank you for the link. Going through the names of officers listed as EOW in a specific jurisdiction, brought back memories of fallen friends and acquaintances. I can, and probably will, submit some missing data on several of these officers..
