WASHINGTON -- Teresa Heinz is getting up a full head of rage while her husband, Sen. John Kerry, fidgets.
They are in the living room of their Georgetown home, where Heinz has lived ever since her late first husband, John Heinz, came to Washington in 1971 as a Republican congressman from Pennsylvania. In the front entrance, the first things a visitor sees are two framed photos of Teresa Heinz cuddled with tall, smiling men with big heads of brown hair: In one is John Kerry, in the other John Heinz.
She still calls John Heinz "my husband" and doesn't always correct herself -- "my late husband" -- even when Kerry is around. She still wears the blue sapphire engagement ring that Heinz gave her.

As long as it's "Beat Up Lurch Day" (LOL), I thought it was worth recycling this priceless article--we need to keep this in the Lurch research files for future reference!!!
It really makes you want to put your life into the hands of "The Spineless Wimp Who Would Be President".....NOT!

She is a millstone around his neck and he already has cement shoes - I wonder how fast he'll sink.

they are perhaps America's most compelling political couple not named Clinton or Bush. ROFL.
Kerry is gratious about Senator Heinz
He'd better be. It was his money that he's flying high on.

Here is a scenario. He is nominated for president with Lady Macbeth as VP. They lose, of course, but this gives her gravitas, a fawning press, and a good position for running for president in 2008.

He'd better be. It was his money that he's flying high on.Didn't Kerry literally go from being the poorest member of the Senate to the richest, the moment he married the Widder Heinous, I mean Heinz?

I think you're on to something.
To: sine_nomine
My guess is that compared to her heinous, Teresa is a gem.

Who wants to bet she's sleeping around.

I like Teresa's weirdness. Does anyone know how if her late husband's death was suspicious?

I'll bet 3 in a marriage is rather tough.
To: sine_nomine
I remember when it happened. It was sheer stupidity. There was some problem or supsected problem with the landing gear so another plane flew under to check..........
The planes crashed into each other and fell into a playground full of children. At least one of whom was killed.

It's unbelievable the way Teresa Heinz routinely disses her current husband-----and he meekly puts up with it!!! That's about the last quality I want to see in a Commander in Chief. Sheesh.....
It wouldn't surprise me if they have a sexless marriage (Can't imagine any woman having sex with someone as creepy as Lurch, anyway.....) Teresa Heinz still regularly refers to John Heinz as "the love of her life." Lurch must really need her money.

Ok. So how does one spell the sound effect of a whip snapping?

I like her, too. She is a strong woman with a distinct personality. She doesn't pull punches in public and that makes me tend to trust her honesty more. What surprises me is that she attached herself to Kerry: I would think she would want a strong man even if he were quiet.

You might like her weirdness but you wouldn't like her nastiness. I've seen it up close. She does not like 'little people' and treats them in a way that lets them know it. Talk to anyone on Nantucket and you'll hear stories.

Very suspicious.
He was in a helicopter and it was clipped from underneath.
How's that for bizarre.

I have a hard time having respect for any woman who apparently shows so little respect for her husband, especially in front of others. What some may call call "feisty" and "honest" I call rude and self-centered. That John Kerry would put up with that kind of cr@p in order to have a wealthy heiress on his arm is a black mark against his character.
To: RooRoobird14
Rude and self centered is right. I have seen her stare right through a little elderly lady who was a volunteer at the hospital in Nantucket. Refused to even acknowledge that the little lady had asked her a question. I have never seen any one be that rude and uncaring.

No one without superb bodyguards should even consider HRC for #2.
