Labels are very tricky things: for they are "reductionist," of course. And so are definitions in general -- as will probably become clear in my reply to "man of Yosemite," as soon as I get a chance to write it.

Peace and love, Alamo-Girl; and a ton of hugs.

Thank you both for your remarks about labels and thank you for your concerns!

[A-G, what's in a "label," anyway???] …

cornelis: Quite a bit and enough for fear and trembling… Our words are meaningful because as a labels they have the potency of revealing a direction toward a direction.

I don’t do fear and trembling anymore, but I am curious when tagged with a label as to what the label means to the one doing the tagging. Depending on the meaning, the motive and the true/falsity of it, there could even be a blessing in it!

Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. – Matthew 5:11

OTOH, if the label is positive or truthful or if my causative was outside His will – then there is no blessing and I have work to do, and thus a need to know.
