Off topic story:

Our local airport had our airport day last Saturday. The afternoon was winding down when a Piaggio landed for fuel. If you've never seen one of these airplanes, they are twin-pusher turboprob business planes, look like catfish, fly high and nearly as fast as jets using less fuel. Very cool. I had to walk across the ramp to look it over, of course.

Talking with some of the gentlemen that got off, I learned that they were from BJU, trying to get to Omaha, but the headwinds at 39,000 were 140 Kts and they had to get more Jet fuel. One of the guys was astonished that I had even heard of BJU. After we spoke for a couple of minutes, they were leaving. I asked this guy what his name was. It was Bob Jones!

Speaking as a BJU grad, I have my doubts that Dr. Bob will let a liar (oops, I mean Democrat) speak to the student body. Especially, if Kerry's intent is to challenge Christian values or BJU's Biblical standards. After what happened in 2000, I think BJU is trying to stay out of the limelight of politics.

It was "cool" for me too, BGH! My son just graduated from BJU last month, and we've come to know, admire, and respect many fine people from BJU including Mr. & Mrs. Bob Jones, III.
