You know, I have been thinking about this and I think that this is the way the dems get to the troops by going after the Commander in Chief.

We know they weren't really supportive of the troops or the war. The country understands now about the shameful reception given our troops after the Vietnam War and has responded this time with pride in our troops in this war.

This is why the dems knew that they couldn't give them that kind of reception so their subliminal diss to the troops was an attack on the very manly President Bush.
