HOw does Splenda affect blood sugar levels, etc., if at all, for those concerned about diabetes, etc.?

Atkins claims Splenda (sucralose) has less of an effect on blood sugar than aspartame, but warns not to go overboard on any sweetner. I personally prefer splenda because it tastes more like sugar.
