The FReepers I know, including myself, said they would allow their kids to attend an all white prom. We are certainly not neo-Nazis. Like you said, he didn't like the results he was getting so he used that as an excuse not to air the results. He is making WAY too much out of this non-issue.
I see that in the mail segment he picked letters that were mostly skewed his way on this. Kind of unusual for him. WHY is he making this so personal? There is more here than meets the eye.

I think we all learned a couple of things tonight:
1 - the "My Spin Zone" will never, ever have someone as sharp as Boortz invited again...he literally cleaned O's clock, and Bill obviously knew it was happening.
2 - O'Reilly does not like being laughed at...seems to get him a wee bit flustered.

Not quite all of it.
O'Reilly apparently believes that the school system (and the Governor) should make certain that the children associate with EXACTLY and ONLY whom O'R thinks they should associate with.
In other words, it's the O'Reilly State. You villl doo,, exactly vat ve SSSSAAAAYYYY you vill dooo.

Thanks! That was great. It was like watching Batman & Superman fight each other instead of the bad guys. Boortz goes at it with Hannity at times but they are great friends. Boortz is a true libertarian. He supports legalization of drugs which sets off Hannity. He supports freedom of association which sets O'Reilly off.
I like all of them. I find O'Reilly is a little liberal at times on some issues. I would rate it: Hannity-10 / Boortz - 9 / O'Reilly - 8.
Neal's sidekick on his show is Royal Marshall, a black man. Royal is great too. Wonder if O'Reilly knows that?
As a socially bacward nerd in high school who never went to a prom, I would like to see such events canceled. All they ever cause is trouble as is happening now.

Bottom line is that O'Reilly is twice the "racist" that he basically accused Boortz of being...and he got his chops busted bigtime.
O'Reilly's little time has passed - it's high time to move on to the "Boortz Factor".

a group of Hispanics were part of the organized entertainment and they were late coming out to do their bit....O'Reilly cracked that maybe they're out in the parking lot stealing our hubcaps.I've heard bits and pieces about this comment here on the FR. Also Robert Reich brought up the hubcap comment when he was on the "Factor" last week. Funny how Bill didn't call him a S.O.B. Bill made no comment to what Reich said.
I do have to wonder if and/or what he said.

I heard Neal today and he was supposed to play in a golf tournament and made it sound like he didn;t really want to do the O-Really show even tho he knew he was gonna get his butt kicked if he went golfing. What a kidder! He loved being there with Shrill bill!

I believe that I recorded sentiments to that effect about 60 days ago on FR. And I don't think I was the first to say so.

Here is the O'Reilly story:
Bill OReilly was emceeing an event on April 12th sponsored by the Best Friends Foundation, a non-profit that provides a curriculum and resources for children from 5th to 12th grade to make the proper decisions outside of school. During the festivities, a capella group of 6th to 8th grade boys called the Best Men was late making it back onto the stage to perform. Trying to fill the time, OReilly quipped, Does anyone know where the Best Men are? I hope theyre not in the parking lot stealing our hubcaps.
Now, 6th to 8th graders are usually not associated with the theft that OReilly is describing. Most adolescents who engage in criminal activity do so later in adolescence. More importantly, the boys that were the target of OReillys cheap joke were in a singing group. Anyone with a cursory understanding of the gangsta culture that embodies most teenage delinquency today (regardless of race) would agree that 12 year olds in doo-wop bands are not trying to make their mark through criminal activity.
So why did OReilly make this off-the-cuff remark? No kidding
the kids in the Best Men are black. OReilly stereotyped young black men with criminal activity, even though the majority of black boys under the age of 18 do not engage in criminal activity.
Many members of the crowd, according to Lloyd Grove of the Washington Post, did not hear the remark. However, Bo Derek was in attendance and acknowledged hearing the remark, although provided no additional comment. Washington news anchor Andrea Roane, after hearing the remark, was purported to have muttered, Unbelievable. An anonymous source added, The well-known Republican politicians and their spouses seated at or near my table were appalled.

.......O'Reilly cracked....... OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH...........NOW I remember what the hubcap incident was! Thanks!
Actually it always sounded to me that this was one of those off-the-cuff remarks like Perot's, "You people......", that can be viewed a couple of different ways depending on who you are.
Anyways...........KUDOS to Boortz. O'Reilly lost it and Boortz laughed and smiled his way through the whole thing.

I concur. When O'Hubcap lost it and called him an SOB you know the arguement was 100% in Boortz's corner. That has to be one of the funniest O'Hubcap shows I've ever watched and I can't wait to hear Neal on the air tommorrow. This is going to be a classic at 10 a.m.

Thanks for the explanation! That explains it all.... Bill's suffering from that "Mexican" racial slur and now he's trying to compensate for it by becoming the racial police.
