I see very little benefit in our having the majority in the Senate. It would appear the democrats control everything but committee chairs.

I think everyone is getting a little hot and the water was just put on the stove. Grassley is bringing a new tax bill out that is 550 billion and there are a lot of "stories" in all the papers about new republicans doing unusual things to change the senate rules. I have a feeling there will be some crow eaten here if people do not slow down.

Does anyone doubt that we will have a budget this fiscal year instead of what happened last year? This is a general Freep observation not directed at you Mr Clintonh8r.
