''We're going to talk directly to the American people,'' says Robin Massee, a tourism spokeswoman

I certainly hope she comes to talk to me. I'd be delighted to clue her in. :0)

We have a nisson 240sx with over 200K miles on it and it is still running great. It's time to look for another car in the next few months and I'm in a bind. I am boycoting the French but this is the best made car we have ever had. Our previous cars were all American made (Ford, Chevy, Dodge)and after 100k miles they all had problems.

In 1986 we bought a brand new Dodge and it had a design-flaw in the front-end steering/transmission and and with 200 miles on it, the warranties wouldn't cover it. It ran until 80k miles but it didn't run well. After being burned I am wary of buying another American made car.

Suggestions? We are looking for a car that is fun to drive, comfortable, and very dependable.
