I Seem to Recall Something About Three Ships....
Vanity...sort of. ^

This isn't an "excerpt", but follow the link if you wonder what I'm talking about here.
What ever happened to the three cargo ships floating aimlessly around in circles in the Indian Ocean?
Several stories in the press around Feb. 19-20 said the Navy was shadowing them as it was suspected that they were loaded with Saddam's WMD arsenal.
So, WTF? Has anyone heard any new information about this?
Another lnk is

ANY info about this potentially huge story (or this potentially huge piece of B.S. propaganda) would be very helpful.

This was brought up at one of Rummy's many news briefings when this info was first circulating on the internet.
I heard Rummy say that he was not aware of any such ships doing as described.

Soooo ... do we FReep FOX and see if they can tell us what they know about these ships. I'm really curious what they may have found out; irregardless of what that is.

I would not be a bit surprised if this administration isn't holding out on a whole bunch of evidence. Being that GWB is considered a great poker player, my guess he is holding a strong hand and waiting for these leftist in the media to be screaming for the evidence and making all kinds of outrageous claims like "Old Scores", "Skull & Bones Society", "Carlisle Group", "It was all about Oil", "Haliburton" and the always handy "After all, he tried to kill my Dad" and then dump the bomb shell on them.
Remember, this is the guy they have been mis-underestimating from day one and since day one, he has been making them look like fools. My money is on George W. Bush.... IT'S A SAFE BET :-)

"Remember, this is the guy they have been mis-underestimating from day one and since day one, he has been making them look like fools. My money is on George W. Bush.... "I think it's a big mistake to underestimate him."

Main Entry: ir·re·gard·less
Pronunciation: "ir-i-'gärd-l&s
Function: adverb
Etymology: probably blend of irrespective and regardless
Date: circa 1912
nonstandard : REGARDLESS
usage Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.

The most likely explanation is the ships ever existed in the first place.
Not certain why people are so infatuated with this story.

I think the ships contain WMD, absconded by the CIA from Iraq before the war. They will be "found" about June, 2004.
