The Girl Scouts are a much more Socialist oganization than the boy scouts. I don't know the background of the organization, but when my daughter joined I was shocked by the over the top "new age" nonsense in their books and handouts. I was actually very relieved when she quit after a year. They do make great cookies, though.

They don't make the cookies...they only reap the enormous profits from their sale.

I won't buy them because I'd be supporting anti-Christian efforts.

4H Cookies are better. (Our daughter lasted 6 months in the Girl Scouts, but she has been in 4H for 6 years.)
