Women need to defend themselves, especially single women or those with husbands overseas. And the media has a responsibility to discuss honestly the issue of gun ownership. The John Walsh Show (search) on NBC may have dealt a blow (4/29) to both goals by "ambushing" three women who agreed to discuss their gun ownership and advocacy on air.

Lisa finally agreed to appear for the same reason as Tiffany, who had armed herself after being raped by an off-duty police officer.

So to counter the bad pr for cops, Walsh does a Clintonian nuts-n-slutz bimbo bashing on the victim.

I used the show link to call him a hypocrite, a phony, one concerned not with victims' rights but ratings.

The JW show had to issue an official statement to the reporter before he did the show last night responding to the claim that we were ambushed and set up and you will be mad when you hear what they said, and I quote;

"Mrs. Hyatt Theriot's claims are without merit and riddled with inaccuracies. The John Walsh Show stands behind the program and in no way did the show mislead or manipulate Mrs. Hyatt Theriot or any other guests on the program."
