"The same people pushing Watts for the Senate could also be the ones convinced that Steve Largent would coast to the OK governorship."

Naah. Largent screwed the pooch on his own. I never forgave him over his idiotic and morally abhorrant position on Elian Gonzalez. He more or less demonstrated what happens when we take races for granted. NEVER do that.

I too was dismayed by Largent's sympathy for little Elian's communist father. However, several OK contributors to FreeRepublic.com told me that the OK were uninformed of Largent's apostasy on Elian. Remember too that most Americans supported the Janet Reno raid: it was abhorred only by the strongest conservatives. I was told that Largent campaigned mostly in OK City and Tulsa and shunned the hinterlands.

Any word from Oklahomans on how they like their new clintoid governor, Brad Henry. Or from WY residents on how they like their new clintoid governor, Dave Freudenthal? Ditto the Kansans? The Tennesseeans? The Arizonans?
