The problem we have here in CA is that the GOP campaign managers insist on treating some of these groups that slow-roll them every damn election as friends--and they let them into the holy of holies, and the Democrats somehow get this data when things go to s**t in September/October.

Until they prove themselves otherwise, I view them as enemies.

I agree, when I heard the Libertarian pres nominee (Brown?) talk about the federal military needing to be defunded and in its place would rise a militia defense--right after 9/11, I realized that people are 3rd party because for the most part, they are kooks. Plain and simple. Losers. I too look at them as enemies. Haplessly pretentious, and hopelessly ineffective, but losers none the less.

The problem we have in CA is that the GOP has no faith! Simon ran a naive campaign and STILL almost became governor, and LA voted, probably a few times! We're going to win big time in 04.
