I think it's interesting that Poland is in charge of one sector. Also note the list of countries who are with us in the peacekeeping: "Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Denmark, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Albania have committed troops to serve under British or Polish supervision." (Australia said from the beginning that they didn't want to participate in the peacekeeping, but they committed troops and fought with us).
I also like the "conspicuously absent" part :France, Germany and Russia. We shouldn't let those countries anywhere near.

I got a sneakin huntch that the Aussies are gonna take a swipe at the terrorists in their part of the world. That would explain why they dont care for being included in this.

The idea of a Russian peacekeeper in an emerging democracy is about as disgusting as Ron Jeremy taking up the cloth.

Sounds good to me. After all, when the rubber hits the road, we basically only have two sectors, Red and Blue. :-)

Here's what MightyMouse posted yesterday regarding the Aussies:
I was just reading in another article that the Australian PM told Bush that he couldn't lend many troops to the post-war reconstruction/stabilization in Iraq because they had so many troops already committed to East Timor and the South Pacific. This was in another article (can't remember where i read it--reuters? AP?) on the Australian PM visiting Bush at Crawford Ranch. Bush understood their limitations, and Australia pledged to do what they could (I think a couple hundred troops).
