I lost my patience with this scribbler when, in the midst of Clinton's first term, when -to those of us who were keeping track- Clinton's corruption was already quite evidently unprecedented in the history of the Presidency, Trudeau went on a tear on Reagan-Bush, calling it "the most corrupt administration we have ever seen" or somesuch rot.
When has Trudeau ever really slammed leftists?

I can't give you dates or page numbers or anything.. But I have seen it and knowing his bias it really surprised me.
I am not implying it was a frequent event or anything though.. Not by any means.
Just that I haven't seen him this mad prior to the election.
It's JMO.

You are so right on. I only read him to see what his little mind is up to.

jejeune harangueNicely done. Not too 50 cent, with a touch of irony. I'm using it.

So the assertion of the Trudeau's column is FALSE.Non. His assertion is solely about France, not about other countries like Israel. In this regard, Trudeau is correct: there is no way on God's green earth would Americans proclaim under any circumstances, "Today, we are all French."

If terrorists had destroyed the Eiffel Tower, would you have cried, "We are all French today!"

Who reads this drivel?

What's most revealing about this is the expression on the faces of those characters in almost all of the panels. They show almost exclusively a hate-filled scowl. The old saying about the eyes being the windows of the soul and the face revealing the intentions of the heart I think are true, and these pictures reveal the face of liberalism very, very well. Touche, oui?

It is the lead "comic" in my local Sunday newspaper as it is in numerous others throughout the country; so the answer to your question is, unfortunately, many people.

"I would call the French scumbags, but that, of course, would be a disservice to bags filled with scum," Dennis Miller told Jay Leno on NBC's "Tonight Show" in February, after France refused to give its blessings to the war in Iraq.
