Well said. The American propensity to believe that everyone else does or should share one's faith is so common we lurch into things like calling the response to 9/11 a crusade. Sometimes it makes matter worse.

You know the word crusade was used in WW2..certainly not a religious war. The use of the word was most unfortunate because of the perception of others.
