"He wants to get to Egypt. He has a lot of money stashed there in a bank and loves those Egyptian women very, very much."

I'm sorry but isn't that a funny comment to make? lol

I almost feel badly for him, truly. If nothing else, he tried to put a brave face on, as he uttered the lies. To think of him saying that the forces aren't in the city, when all the world can see otherwise on television, is truly a contrast in reality. He had to have known this. That said, we should treat him as any other adversary in the war.

He has a lot of money stashed there in a bank

And every penny of it was stolen from the Iraqi people and needs to be returned.

Yeah, those Egyptian women will always fall for a funnyman with Mr. Magoo glasses.

"He was brave."

No, he was Saddam's fool.

"He wants to get to Egypt." The Nile is a river in Egypt. There, someone had to say it.

Last week, the minister...was reportedly trying to strike a deal with the Americans that would allow him to go into exile in Egypt.

Can do...

Somebody first measure Baghdad Bob for casket measurements, and then reserve a burial plot in Cairo.

It is kinda sad really. I can't imagine having self-denial down to that extent and then having to walk away from the only "security" you ever knew. I hope things turn around for Baghdad Bob.

"He wants to be outside Iraq," said the general, who did not wish to be identified. "He wants to get to Egypt. He has a lot of money stashed there in a bank and loves those Egyptian women very, very much."

No doubt!

"This is not true! I do not wish to go to Egypt, I have no money stashed in a bank, and I do NOT like women! Um, wait, scratch that last denial."

The general described Mr Sahhaf as "naive" and claimed that Saddam used to beat his minister of information. ..... According to Mr Hassan, Mr Sahhaf and a team of aides arrived at the studio on April 8 and rarely left it. He says that Mr Sahhaf worked from a transmitter van parked in the studio garden, sustained only by a few cups of tea and an occasional slice of cake.

Luxury. When I was a lad, I used to have to get up a half hour before I went to bed. I slept in a corridor with my 15 brothers and sisters. We would trudge barefoot through rusted nails to the salt mines, work 25 hours a day, then come home, have a lump of dried poison for dinner, lick the road clean with our tongues, and then our father would thrash us to sleep with a broken bottle.
