DNC Chairman McAuliffe Statement on President Bush's Taxpayer-Funded Photo Opportunity
Washington, D.C. -- Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Terry McAuliffe issued the following statement:
"The 341,000 Americans who became unemployed in April had the honor of watching the president land on an aircraft carrier yesterday afternoon, no doubt wondering how the costs of this extravagant photo-op would affect their pocketbooks. Instead of watching his dramatic sea landing, I am sure they would rather have been at work.
"The president seems to want to focus all of his attention on military success rather than his complete lack of success on the economic front. He is presiding over an economy that is losing jobs rather than creating them."

Isn't it funny that the DNC web page does not take the time to explain all the taxpayers wasted money under the Clinton years. muchless, the fact that The Guinness Book of Records literally, has W J Clinton listed as the most expensive haircut, sitting on a tar mac on board AF1.

Terry McAwful's just jealous... Clinton never had that kind of glowing exposure.

GLOBAL CROSSING BANKRUPTCY: GOP INSIDERS QUESTION DNC CHAIRMAN MCAULIFFE PROFIT, TURNED $100,000 INTO $18,000,000
**Exclusive**
ENRON-stung GOPers are discreetly eyeing the collapse of GLOBAL CROSSING [which on Monday became the 4th largest bankruptcy in history] and its Chairman Gary Winnick, a top Democrat donor who helped DNC head Terry McAuliffe turn a $100,000 stock investment -- into $18,000,000

The democrats can't even eat crow with an ounce of dignity, can they?

Let's see now, how much did that trip to China cost us, you know the one, where Hillary had to have a specially constructed portable bathroom carted alone in a military transport?

...The Guinness Book of Records literally, has W J Clinton listed as the most expensive haircut, sitting on a tar mac on board AF1.Yeah...well there's a reason for that.
Bill Clinton's haircut
Before his infamous haircut on the tarmac, Clinton asked his stylist Christophe, "How long will this take, how much will it cost, and how good will this look?"
Christophe replied just ten minutes, cost $20, and look marvelous. An hour and fifteen minutes later, Clinton looked into the mirror in horror and Christophe handed him a bill for $200.
Clinton gasped, "You took too long, it doesn't look that great, and it is costing me ten times more than you said!"
Christophe replied, "That makes us even."

Let me see,MMmmmmmmmmmm, The head of all military branches in the U.S. can't go visit a military base or carrier? Yeah right. I don't believe he needs Terry's permission.

Global Crossing Ltd
The report issued by Tommy Thompson is still tied up by union lawyers. It seems as though Union pension funds were left in sinking Global Crossings while union bosses like Sweeney and Democrats like Terry McCaul;iffe had the inside poop and cashed out for a profit. The union pension funds were left to sink with Global Crossings Ltd. Let us hope that the Democrats are put front and center with the rest of the rats. Union pension funders do not need criminals handling assets.

I've already posted this the other day but this looks like a good spot to reshow it.
HONOR AT SEA
Today, a day in history
our leader took to air
the President of our country
like none before would dare
To welcome home returning troops
upon the deck he slam
with military honors on
the bosom of Abraham
Our troops swarmed all around him
like sailors drunk on grog
the great ships captain wrote with pride
into the Lincoln's log:
"Today our ship was honored
all men will mark this day
when our beloved President
on this first day of May
landed on our flight deck
where heroes come and go
to thank us for our service
and let the world know
what freedom means to Americans
what bloodshed and what tears
and what he said to us today
we will honor through the years
though great men, rare, do come and go
as fate would us allow
we thank the Lord above for this
great man who leads us now."

And they are such cry baby, narcissistical, minority, losers; that if they can't est their meat, then they lost their chance for decades to have any pudding...

Clinton's trip to asia with his enterage of hundreds dwarfs what this trip cost, which was really very little.

The Democrats are really scared of this, aren't they? It's too soon for any polls to have come back; they must be going on gut feel that they got royally hosed the other night. They're getting hosed again tonight. Their own photo-op for their nine presidential wannabes will shown at 1:30 a.m. I figure that was Terry McAulifee's doing. ABC, and certainly Geooorrrrrrrrge Steponallofus, have never been shy about promoting the Democratic Party. I think Terry just doesn't want the show going national until they figure out how to get Al Sharpton off the stage. From all accounts, Reverend Al steals the show every time. He makes the other guys look tepid by comparison. Go Al go! |
