That's true, the difference in cost between calibers wouldn't be so significant. But that's not why we shoot 22s. 22 is still the ultimate survival rifle. We shoot 45s, too, and consider that fun as well. Guess there's no hope--the politicians have gone off the deep end. :)

I've been thinking of picking up one of those AR-7 survival sets for just in case. I've got a nice little .22 gallery gun and a .22/.410 over and under.

Didn't mean to pick on .22 owners.
My point was that it would be amusing for cali to end up with more owners of big ugly large bore handguns.
