I have been homeschooled all my life (I am now a junior in HS) and totally love it, and would recommend it to ANYONE!
...and...being homeschooled gives me plenty of time to read FreeRepublic! I mean, how good is this?!!

That there is a states when developing children should NOT be exposed to abnormal homosexual behavior.
You're referring to the single and double-digit years?

0-12 yrs can be protected without debate.
Above that, the direction must be with a straight life. Alternative lifestyles must be reserved for after highschool graduation. In addition, 100% prosecution of any adult having sexual relations with anyone under 18. (there is more than just consent laws to enforce)

I remember having a loud argument with my boss in 1985 about homosexual rights. I was for homosexuals teaching in schools. She said she wasn't. She said they would recruit. I said all they want is the right to teach in the schools, to have a job.
Boy, was I ever naive.
Tammy Bruce (a lesbian) was on Concerned Women for America and told the host of the show that homosexuals want to get into the public schools to recruit. They have to recruit because many of them are diseased. They need fresh meat.

There was a time...long ago...that basically you went to school just to learn...Schools aren't for social value or personal attention...I'd personally rather waste time on math, business management or accounting rather than sit around talking about sexual choices or how people in Bogata live. I could not agree more!
Whenever I tell people that I homeschool, they always ask (and I always get a kick out of this!), "Well, how do you learn to be...social?" As if the school is going to teach me!
It's sad (and just looney) that our society expectes the schools to teach kids how to be mature adults and "social." That is NOT their job. That is the job of the parents. The schools should stick to the math, writing, etc...Don't get me started! : )

i was always skeptical of that whole"recruitment"theory.I know for certain if some gay spokesman came to my high school and tried to convince me of the wonderous benefits of oral and anal sex with other guys I would have either shouted him down or laughed myself to death thinking I would go along with that kind of perversion!
I think anyone falling for that"recruitment"line was probably leaning that way ANYWAY so it was just a matter of time before he went over to the gayside.

Perhaps we should have "cure homosexuality clubs" that would be equal time.Exactly!

I too heard the Tammy Bruce broadcast during my lunch hour at work last friday. It was an excellent program. If more Freepers knew about Tammy Bruce, I think their attitudes toward homosexuals would change.
The host of the show, Sandy Rios, had a very thought-provoking radio show in Chicago for 3 years. She would frequently talk about the queering of government schools. In reponse, the local gay activists would send her lots of hate mail to her. However, she handled herself very well.

Glad to hear you're interested. Here are two similar links:
Invasion of the mind snatchers
Thought Reform And The Psychology of Homosexual Advocacy
The above links were provided to me by EdReform who is a great source for additional links, as is Remedy. The three of us can easily overwhelm you with factual articles on the homosexual agenda and related issues. Please ask any one of us when you want more.
I'm also very glad to read you are homeschooled. This is the end of our second year for homeschooling and we love it.

If you haven't yet, I encourage you to check out Scott Lively's website
http://www.abidingtruth.com/ - he's got tons of info on his site, as well as materials to order, and has an outline of how to change school by community action.
