Why do folks like Paul always ping on our huge aid level to Israel yet remain virtually silent regarding our nearly-equally-large aid level to Egypt? (No anti-Semitism there at all, right?)

Apples and oranges. It's not only the amount of money spent, but the fact that we're taking sides in a very deep-running conflict in that region, and supplying one side militarily. The aid to Egypt, by contrast, is just payoff money for making peace with Israel.

It is NOT apples and oranges. I know, because I have been TOLD this by so-called Libertarians who rage about aid to Israel while yawning about aid to Israel.

Your own answer convicts you of anti-Semitism. As if we haven't taken sides in running regional battles in other locations before. Heck, we do it all the time. The only reason you wish to make our support of Israel so easy is that, . . . well: You HATE Israel.

Why not admit it: You will feel better and stand taller in your jackboots.
