Wales now has a measure of autonomy, and its own parliament. Mixing Wales and Texas is sort of like mixing grits and eggs. Only odd balls do it.

Does Wales have an international border with England? Yes or no?

Thanks for playing. Double order of grits with those eggs, please.

But the Kosovars clearly have a right to not be a charge of an ethnic group with which they have nothing in common and have been oppressed by, and which attempted to ethnically cleansed them

Try substituting the word "undocumented Mexicans" for "Kosovars" in your assertion:

But the undocumented Mexicans clearly have a right to not be a charge of an ethnic group with which they have nothing in common and have been oppressed by, and which attempted to ethnically cleansed them..."

Some people in this country claim that Mexicans have as much right to be here as U.S. citizens (after all, we "stole" California from them).

Further, those same people would claim that we Anglos "oppress" them.

To take the analogy even further, we know these same people would call President Bush a "war criminal," just as you look to the kangaroo court in the Hague to declare Milosevic one.

So what is this "right" you are claiming for the "Kosovars" again?

Taken in contrast to the stupidity/cupidity of the American journalistic community you have to go to Prague for the truth to be published it seems,

When Mexican Americans in some US region 1) represent the clear majority of residents, 2) want to be annexed by Mexico, 3) don't live in a democracy with guaranteed and practiced civil and political rights, and 4) are systematically oppressed by Anglos from elsewhere in ways that shock the conscience, than we can start equating Mexican Americans and Kosovars. Until then, it is apples and oranges, with spam as the main course.

Wales is the the west of the Midlands in England. And like Texans, except in the south of Wales which has boatloads of folks from elsewhere, they speak English sometimes a bit oddly. Indeed, like Texas, many also speak another language entirely. Unlike Texas, they have a town with a name that I believe has the most letters of any in the world in it. I hope that helps.

Now you're changing your argument.

Your original assertion was:

But the Kosovars clearly have a right to not be a charge of an ethnic group with which they have nothing in common and have been oppressed by, and which attempted to ethnically cleansed them

The analogy of illegal Mexicans with your 'Kosovars' is indeed apt. Already the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan is claiming your last three points --they...

2) want to be annexed by Mexico,
3) don't live in a democracy with guaranteed and practiced civil and political rights, and
4) are systematically oppressed by Anglos from elsewhere in ways that shock the conscience.

So I guess we can just wait for your condition #1 to come true ( 1) [Mexicans] represent the clear majority of residents).

Then, by your lights, we must just sit back and allow the reconquista of our southwest.

Just like your 'Kosovars' did to Kosovo.

I try not to stereotype, but Mexicans appear to be much nicer people than those "Kosovar" Albanians. I think I will go to get some Mexican food now (plus beer) :)

Care to explain how the Serbs ethnically cleased themselves right out of Kosovo? Serbian population of Kosovo after WWII at least 80%, Serbian population of Kosovo in 2000 about 10%.

This has to be the most ineffectual case of ethnic cleasing on record. Oh, and the mass graves of Albanians still haven't been located.

Any other Clinton lies you still believe?
