Islam Mole? That was my thought. That's why I pinged you.

One other thing, can you imagine this report being seen by Hillary BEFORE it was made public? In time for her to put her own spin on it? All Im saying is, the people who should be blamed will never be held accountable. So why worry about report that will never be completly honest and forthcoming..?

Salam al-Marayati, director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and a well- respected human rights activist and social reformer, was appointed to the Commission to Counter Terrorism, following two visits by Hillary Clinton to the Islamic Center of Southern California, where she met with him and his physician wife, Dr. Laila al-Marayati.

We Can Mix Morality With Politics by Changing the System, Not Ourselves
By Mahjabeen Islam-Husain
SEPTEMBER 1999,
We must set as a goal to have at least 2,000 Muslims elected to public office in 2000. And we must examine the records of candidates at all levels, from state legislatures to the White House, and agree on which are best qualified to serve in public office judged by our own standards.
This is the only way to illustrate to American political candidates that American Muslims are here, not just to stay but to participate just as effectively in the life of our nation as all the other groups that have preceded and will follow us. Most importantly, our collective confidence in our political potential now needs the positive reinforcement that only the sweet sound of the words we did it! can provide.

National Commission on Terrorism report should be rejected
By Hussein Ibish and
Salam Al-marayati,
Los Angeles Times, Monday 19 June 2000
http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/27c/042.html The commission calls for information on all international students to be collected and monitored, not only for visa status, but for academic interest. The report suggests that it is sinister for foreign students to change their majors from English to physics. Such information is obviously of no help in thwarting a terrorist attack, but it would allow the U.S. government to identify young scientists based on their national origin and single them out for long-term surveillance. Such measures would have a chilling effect on university life and flout principles of academic freedom and the universality of scientific knowledge.

Mr. Salam S. Al-Marayati was born on September 2, 1960 in Baghdad,
Iraq. His family left Iraq and immigrated to the United States in 1964

So it should come as a surprise to some that MPACs executive director Salam Al-Marayati wrote the unconscionable in a June 1999 "Position Paper on U.S. Counterterrorism Policy" (Multi Media Vera International): "Hezbollah organized the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut in October 1983 killing 241 marines, largest number of American troops killed in a single operation... Yet this attack, for all the pain it caused was not in a strict sense, a terrorist operation. It was a military operation, producing no civilian casualties-exactly the kind of attack that Americans might have lauded had it been directed against Washington's enemies."
Notice a pattern? It can be demonstrated quite effortlessly that Islamist after Islamist is willing to condemn forcefully: "acts" of terrorism, suicide bombings, and the targeting and killing of civilians. But nary does one witness an assault on the source of the problem: the terrorist groups that carry out such acts. Even if one were to hear such a declaration from Dr. Al-Arian and company it would not be a sufficient gesture unless it were to reinforce efforts already underway to actively support President Bush in the war on terror.

Also in attendance was Salam Al-Marayati, executive director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, who on the afternoon of September 11 told a Los Angeles public radio audience that "we should put the State of Israel on the suspect list." And sitting right next to President Bush was Muzammil Siddiqi, president of the Islamic Society of North America, who last fall told a Washington crowd chanting pro-Hezbollah slogans, "America has to learn if you remain on the side of injustice, the wrath of God will come." Days later, after a conservative activist

*** Hillary Clinton and President Clinton*** were the ones that brought a mole (terrorist) into the White House and they are to blame for 911.
this guy needs to be looked into big time--Salam Al-Marayati

Now Hillary Clinton has puzzled Jewish voters and friends of Israel with yet another stumble. The New York Daily News reported on October 25 that her Senate campaign has returned $50,000 collected at a Boston fundraiser attended by Muslims and Americans of Arab descent. The First Lady posed for photos holding a plaque given to her by the event's organizers. It expressed the appreciation of the American Muslim Alliance for her human-rights activism. Mrs. Clinton now says she didn't know the award was from the Alliance, even though the group's name was emblazoned on the trophy in large letters. "I get handed thousands of plaques," Mrs. Clinton now says. Alas for the First Lady, the American Muslim Alliance's national president, Agha Saeed, favors the Palestinian struggle for independence from Israel and believes the Palestinians "have the right to resist by armed force."
