LOL... speaking of OJ....That is where I was searching for stuff related from that trial.
Robert Shapiro commenting on OJ Trial
Which lead me to research several hours this morning, forgetting about the continuence of the Mark Geragos saga of today's news, I think MG is convincing himself he can handle this case as any good lawyer will, but the test will be the judge, jury, and court room tactics. This case will not go via like OJ, and or based on race. Reading this link here should wise up any defense or presecution attorneys in presenting a case for or against Scott Peterson. Must web those details to convince the jury, he did or didn't do it. Then the statement Mark made Friday out of court, I will prove my client is innocent, well let the game begin.
And if Brazelton can't handle now this high profile case, not on celebrity status, but Scott Peterson is just an ordinary male, with a beautiful wife with child, and what happened Dec 23rd/24th would be the jury's focus in my opinions. Also, then it should be changed, for another well experienced prosecution team could handle it. (The saying, becareful what you ask for, it may come back to bite!)
Another thing, in today's hard copy of Modesto Bee, McAllister is representing 2 defendents charged in the methane deaths of dairy workers. Merced County .... He won a little bit off the grand jury, but the manslaughter charges still stand, and consolidation of the other charges consolidated... (if I re phased it right)......

I don't think the pictures were doctored. Scott was leading a very happy " singles" life, far away from home where he never thought he would be found out.
HA-- the jokes on him! He has been found out and there's no way he can explain away these pictures. I wonder just how many more are still out there? One picture he may be able to explain.....but not several ( or many) more pictures. I can't hardly wait for Ambers testimony. I'm betting she's going to be a very important witness.

This is something I found interesting in a case, and the issue of 55 gallon drums, stuffing a body.
Jury selection in bodies in barrel case
Snip it
"The defendant is charged with killing the three women in Kansas in a case that became the focus of national attention two years ago when the bodies of two of the victims were found stuffed headfirst into 55-gallon barrels on Robinson's 16.5-acre rural property.
The body of Izabela Lewicka, 21, (above) was found stuffed inside a barrel on Robinson's property in June 2000.
Authorities say Robinson killed a total of six women over a period of 15 years, in Kansas and in Missouri, after luring at least a few of them through promises of money and jobs and requests for sadomasochistic sex through Internet chat rooms. Robinson used the online name of "slavemaster."

These quotes are laughable.
MODBEE
"Scott looks forward to proving his innocence in this matter," Geragos said outside court. "In addition to that, Scott looks forward to finding out who did this to his wife and to his child, Conner."
We're happy that Mark is in place as Scott's attorney," Cau-dillo said outside the courthouse. "We do look forward to proving his innocence. "I'm sorry he has to remain in jail until that is done."

I don't think the pictures were doctored. I don't either, the defense will try anything, though.

And when you saw it on the video clip or news, straight faced... Yep, innocent alright, bring the case on....

Sound familiar???? Just like the OJ crap. They could offer $50,000,000.00 because NOBODY would be coming to collect it. Laughable, if not sick, is right.

We're happy that Mark is in place as Scott's attorney," Cau-dillo said outside the courthouse. "We do look forward to proving his innocence. "I'm sorry he has to remain in jail until that is done." Just how weird/cold are these people? No mention of losing Laci and Connor, no sympathy for either family, just so sorry Scott has to stay in jail! Sickening.........
To: Wednesday's Child
I saw her make that statement. That whole family is PATHETIC. I agree, for them, it's all about Scott and getting him off. No mention of Laci and the baby. These people do not even intend to go to the funeral. They a bunch of sick twits, if you ask me. The whole lot of them. My God, I hope that a Jury of really reasonable people will make the right decision in this case. I think Geragos has calculated that he only needs to convince one and Scotty will walk. Of course he'll be tried again but California worries me when it comes to juries. OJ nearly did me in. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They need some really savvy Prosecutors here because this case has an abundance of powerful visuals that can be used. Not to mention the evidence. I'm sure that the Police have a LOT more than we know about.

I'm sure the police have lots of evidence. They've been building their case since the very beginning. There has to be forensic evidence in the house too.
They did grab him before he was able to get to Mexico. I just hope they have a really good prosecutor....really good. Geragos is going to pick each and every bit of evidence apart. He'll try to explain away everything, no matter how stupid it sounds....kinda like Jackie and her crew. Hopefully, there will be NORMAL jurors who will not be swayed by his attempts to discredit everything..
And Jackie and her crew are just unbelievable....this was their daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, grandson etc and they hardly ever mention them. I just don't understand any of them or their actions...
To: Canadian Outrage
Here I will disagree about the memorial and Scott's family...I think it is the right thing for them to do, to not attend . If anyone from Scott's family were to go, it would only incite emotions, take away from the prupose of the day: remembering Laci. The focus should not be on Scott or his family, they should not attend the service tomorrow, and I think it is gracious of them not to attend.
As to the statement of his sister, I didn't see it, but I do wonder if there was more to it than was quoted. I think Lee and Jackie are enablers, but we've all wondered where his brothers and sisters were, so I'd like to see more statements. Just because they are half relations doesn't mean they are psycho.
