She was asked about that yesterday. She said that on a scale of 1 to 10, yesterday Bush got a 10 and Dukakis in the tank got a 1.

Estrich isn't so bad for a liberal. There's a point at which she drops the party line and just tells the truth.

I didn't see it, but my wife did: apparently Susan Estrich was on Fox last night and even SHE was laughing about the comparison of Du-caca-is in his Beetle Bailey hat to Bush.

I don't like her but she was interviewed yesterday about the difference between Dubya in a jet and Dukakis in a tank.

Her answer was "The difference between a 1 and a 10."

You're so right. In 1988, all Republicans had to do was show a photo of Mikey in the tank and everyone got the joke at a glance. Can you imagine 'Rats trying to use a photo next year of Bush in his jump suit in a negative attack? It just won't work. I'd love to see them try.
