Im not for revoking anyones citizenship but correct me if Im wrong...Puerto Ricans (living in Puerto Rico) arent US citzens are they? They aren't a state! They dont pay taxes to the US either do they? I do however remember hearing something to the effect that they can collect on welfare or unemployment...right? wrong?

Im not all too familiar with the issues associated with Puerto Rico other than what goes on with the Naval Base.

Cut em loose!

You're wrong; they are U.S. citizens.

They aren't a state!

Neither were most states prior to their admission to the Union; would you hold that those residing in those territories before they became states were not U.S. citizens?

They dont pay taxes to the US either do they?

Neither would you if you resided in Puerto Rico.

I do however remember hearing something to the effect that they can collect on welfare or unemployment...right? wrong?

Yes, they can--but why is it that people on this allegedly conservative website are more worked up about who is allowed to collect welfare as opposed the mere existence of welfare?

Yes they do pay taxes on every paycheck on payday, and on tax day.
