A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/1/03

President Bush and First Lady Laura began the day in a ceremony honoring the National Day of Prayer. Bush then headed to San Diego where he co-piloted a Navy Viking jet and landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a truly historic moment for American Presidents and our country. The President then spoke to the nation saying that major combat operations in Iraq are over. Bush also took the opportunity to once again thank the men and women of our military. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

These are wonderful, rintense. I watched the speech and he's just so natural with the military, unlike expotus you know who. He looks great in that gear. Yum. What a guy. Handsome to boot.

Beautiful day yesterday! Beautiful President! Magnificent speech! Tears, cheers, joy! So glad God has blessed us with this man as our President and for all in our military who have served this nation with the same courage their Commander in Chief has displayed many times!
Hello to you, mtngrl - miss ya! And to all! Have enjoyed this dose and the live thread yesterday more than words can express. May the memory of these precious days help carry us through any difficulties that may lie ahead. I know Dosers will continue praying for our President. Wasn't this a spectacular day for the Day of Prayer (and fasting) to be completed with this spectacular event full of the theme of Freedom, Love, Mutual respect, and Joy!
With God, all things are possible!

We had quite a storm here, too. Hubby saw RED streak of lightning. Ever hear of that? Know why? I was getting my hair done when the electricity went off. Whew, only for a couple of minutes. That would have been cute.

Goron can't compete with this hunk, even if his photo wasn't enhanced. Bush has the true beauty that comes from a beautiful heart.

Because God had a plan and He picked the man who would listen to His heart for America. Bush has been the best man for the job in years! I dread the day when he's gone and we have to put up with someone else who might not be the quality leader Bush is. We need to keep praying.

You need Alpha 6 oils (flaxseed is one of them) for good health. One of the women in our health class at school here (a noon time group) was always on low fat diets and once she began to put oils back in, she felt better and her mind was clearer. All this low-fat stuff is nonsense. They add more sugar and white refined flour to make it taste better. I think you can even get butter now with olive oil. I used to mix olive oil and butter together to make a spread. All things in moderation is my motto now. I don't cut much out except for large portions and sweets. I eat them with great moderation too but I haven't cut them out.
