A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/1/03
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov

Posted on 05/01/2003 7:13:51 PM PDT by rintense

President Bush and First Lady Laura began the day in a ceremony honoring the National Day of Prayer. Bush then headed to San Diego where he co-piloted a Navy Viking jet and landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a truly historic moment for American Presidents and our country. The President then spoke to the nation saying that major combat operations in Iraq are over. Bush also took the opportunity to once again thank the men and women of our military. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Sigh..

me too

"I'm not a addict baby" (To The Dose..right...)

Well, my idiot dog ran off, after searching and calling for him, I just had to wait up for him to come home..and he will, he always does..but not always when I want him to..

Sure glad we live in the boonies..the brat slipped his collar..but out here, there is little chance of him being hit by a car..sigh

Thought I'd have some fun while waiting..

Call Drei back home, you guys!

Ready??

HERE DREI!

COME HOME, BOY!

gotta go check once more...

None of us are addicts to the Dose.

I hope he comes home soon so you can go to bed. I hate to leave you here all alone it seems, but I need to get some sleep.

I'll talk to you later Ms.B.
Good night.

From a Washington Post article:

Bush emerged from the cockpit in full olive flight suit and combat boots, his helmet tucked jauntily under his left arm. As he exchanged salutes with the sailors, his ejection harness, hugging him tightly between the legs, gave him the bowlegged swagger of a top gun.

Hmmmmmm....this reporter has seemed to have achieved the impossible. These words have almost surpassed the photos in describing how utterly and completely SEXY the President was today. Oh my, I feel like a giddy schoolgirl! And its very nice, very nice indeed.

Do you think maybe JFK would have? Was he a pilot though? I do believe he was a Naval officer.

Sad news about my babies... they are going back to their mama later today. Her milk came in, and the kittens will all be reunited with mom and siblings. Hopefully, the mom will not reject them.

Ok, after seeing all those different color shirts, I though Dubya had landed in the world of the Teletubbies. I was just waiting for Tinky Winky to prance across the platform with his purple purse.

I'm just checking the Dose this morning, and read another of your amazing analyses.

A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man; a man who always gives credit to others rather than himself; a man who puts America first before his own political ambitions; a man who brings respect not only to the office, but to America in the eyes of the world.

The world knows, President Geroge W Bush means what he says. My, how refreshing is that?

Thanks again, J.

Did your husband cry when the President cried too?? Mine did!!

I taped the landing yesterday, and we watched it last night before the speech, and Mr O was laughing outloud at how happy the President was, and how excited all the sailors were to see him.....how he put his arms around them, and they around him.

What an incredible man our President is!!
