OK, I admit it. I believe that Rocky III is, without a duobt, the best of the series.

The former pro wrestler,Excuse me?
Mr T was never a pro wrestler that I'm aware of and I've been following wrestling since the old NWA days.

The competition I saw, I believe, part of "ABC's Wide World of Sports" on a really slow sports weekend back in...oh...the 1970's? Wide World of Sports always covered crazy things such as barrel jumping and my favorite, ice motorcycle races.

Excuse me? Mr T was never a pro wrestler that I'm aware of and I've been following wrestling since the old NWA days. Are you kidding? He teamed up with Hulk Hogan for the star tag-team match against Rowdy Roddy Piper and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff in Wrestlemania I in 1985, the event that put pro wrestling back on the map! Cindy Lauper was his "manager", and the guest referee was Muhammad Ali. I think the announcer was Liberace (or he was there somewhere)! There had never been anything like it, and hasn't been since.

I should add, though, that he wasn't a "regular" wrestler. He only participated in some celebrity matches for a short time (and probably for some big bucks).
To: Orbiting_Rosie's_Head
Yes, he appeared in a wrestlemania. That doesn't make him a pro wrestler.
What's his name, married to Courtney Cox, was the heavyweight champ for a very short period. Does that make him a pro wrestler?

He also appeared in Wrestlemania 2, and after a hiatus, returned for a few more matches later on as Hogan's partner, I believe.

Since you seem to be so certain, I will bow to your greater knowledge.
My memory isn't what it once was.
And the whole thing was definitely a promo for T.

David Arquette - WCW Champ. The (un)official death of WCW.
Mr. T, like Jay Leno, Lawrence Taylor, Dennis Rodman, Arquette, etc...not real wrestlers...
To: CounterCounterCulture
Yeh, THAT was his name.
