Busted...you know me too well. My views on this issue are mixed between heart and mind....between experience and observation versus wishful thinking.
I do find it odd that folks who decry less enlightened racial practices are the very ones who resort to prejudicial stereotyping to bloster their argument.
White guilt is a bottomless pit.
I think we should be able to pick on everyone equally.

White guilt is pitiful. I hate it. My views are also mixed on this issue. This issue isn't that old. Legal segregation ended only forty years ago. There are a lot of people alive with bad memories and bitterness. I think after that generation dies out, we'll all be better off without the racists,bitter people,etc.
