Pretty much. At least in the "old days" we all got a periodic "protection of the President" briefing. Still watching the post speech feed the real SS guys seem about as uptight as they ever get. One guy, with a shaved head, did crack a smile at some remark by one of the sailors, or maybe something over his radio/earpiece.
