Oh my gosh. I hope that he doesn't think that America has really stopped praying for him. Granted some have, but there are still many of us out here praying even more fervantly for him. This just broke my heart when I read that. It broke my heart when I heard Glenn telling about how sad Bush SR was when he told him that.
This conversation took place right before the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Watching Dubya since then, it looks like he can tell we're still with him...

I can't believe he would even think that. I know the screeching from the left might seem as if the prayers have stopped, but the silent majority of the right is slowly getting louder, and soon Bush will hear our prayers again, if he hasn't already.
We are praying. Harder than ever before.

I can tell you this, my 3 1/2 year old prays for Dubya EVERY night.
He says ... "God bless the President who keeps us SAFE and FREE."
He added that to his prayers on his own!
And then he prays for our soldiers.
What a kid!
