If you were treating the military with such raw contempt as Clinton - knowing full well that the military leadership of other countries have staged coups for much less - you would be paranoid too.
The peaceful constitutional transition of power is one of the unique hallmarks of our great nation. It is also was the fault line of the 2000 post-election crisis. The Democrats tried at the ballots and lost. They tried in the courts and lost. They are still trying in the press and in the hot beds of activism to delegitimize Bush and junta-ize his Presidency. Democrats are now faced with the worrysome fact that Bush's actions and their responses prove that he is the legitimate authority in the minds of Americans.
