I think "lanceboyle" needs to learn the chain of command. On FR, General Zot is Numero Uno. Everyone else other than W is a pimple on the ass of the demodonkey. What a jerk. On a day of what I wished for in 93, this arss shows up here to whine. What a DUmmie sleeper.

She'd pay money to be that thin. She's a chunky gargoyle.
She also reminds me of a catfish, with my apologies to catfish.

This was no dog-and-pony show today. For most of the 5,500 members of the U.S.S. Lincoln, today was the highlight of their military careers. For the rest of their lives, they will be talking about the day that President Bush flew onto their carrier and spent the night with them.
Well said SamAdams76!

Amen. I am very jealous of those sailors. The USN always got the good stuff, LOL.

I know of many a young person who would not consider the military as a career because of bill clinton as commander in chief. You must respect the person who holds the office, its not enough to respect the office alone.

Sorry, but I paged Rummy and he used the Zot on this ahole. I was sick and tired on a day of glory of this jerk whining. I worked my way up from the bottom to major in the Corps, and reading this crap just pissed me off. General Zot has spoken. Thank you.

What sucked about Clinton's was that he loathed the very people he saw in the military... and quite frankly, the feeling was mutual.
Had Clinton visited a carrier like a real president instead of an arrogant male gullsucker, that would have been OK. But Clinton visited to steal the bathrobes and the ashtrays... and some poor swabbie had to account for those missing items his Commander-in-Chief's entourage- or was that the Commander in Chief himself- swiped.

I was up to 12 years at that point. I could no longer respect the commander in chief so I did what I had to do. You are correct. We lost a lot of great people from 93 to 00. Thank God we have someone who respects what a lot of us did. I am so happy for the new generation of soldiers. Too bad we don't have alot of Senators and Congresspeople who are due the same respect.

I wish I could strike people dead over the TV. LOL!!
My kids gave me a "bad call brick" for watching sports on TV.(made out of foam) It sure comes in handy watching these idiots. I get that thing right in the middle of the screen most of the time.

Exactly right about the WMD! The UN had 5 months and 'they' were bleating for more tiiiimme! Now we're in there for a matter of weeks and they want to see those WMDs right now! Geez, and the UN guys weren't even fighting a war at the same time... like our guys are. (and winning magnificently!)

For paging Rummy/Zot or ????...LOL

Oh please! Mr. Lanceboil is merely Sydney Blumenthal's spawn, still trying to excuse the sinkmaster's little haircut debacle which inconvienced hundreds of average citizens when he took over a runway. This is really funny.....and these are desperate times for the rats!

Old Ironsides. Here's a photo of her that I love. I've had that on my corkboard for a couple of years. I clipped it though, so only she is showing. This was the first time she went out under sail in a couple of generations, IIRC. They had been towing her out to keep her in commission status. Not only is she under weigh, under sail (although not all of it, they didn't want to put that much stress on the old girl) she's firing her guns! Even if without any shot.
