What makes the Left so consistently anti Israel, I wonder. I can only suppose it may be because Israel is a friend of America.

First of all there is nothing false about this or any other statement in the post...would you like a lesson?

The point was that Jerusalem is not the holy shrine that the Moslems pray to, while the western wall of the remains of the Jewish temple is holy to the Jews.
It is incredible that you could miss this point, unintentionally.
But then some people will play stupid to appear smart.

I have a theory that it is human nature to be anti semitic. Satan hates Israel because God made promises to Israel that he will keep. If Satan can destroy all the Jews, God can't keep his promises and Satan thinks he can win. Understanding the truth about God's chosen people only comes as a revelation from God to those who desire to know the truth. This has been my experience. I used to despise those "money grubbing" Jews.

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to your covenant with Me, I will fulfill My covenant with you; and of Me, and Me alone, should you be afraid.

I thought Muslims prayed towards Mecca. Is this not the case?

Even stranger, what makes so many American Jews leftists? In a word, Socialism. I used to have a friend in the JPFO (Jews for Protection of Firearms Ownership) who would go into coniption fits about this all of the time. Check 'em out at: http://www.jpfo.org/

Yes they do pray towards Mecca. The point of the post was to show that Islam does not mention Jerusalem in the Koran and Muslims pray facing the other direction, thereby asking the question, when did Israel and Jerusalem become so important and holy a place for their religion?

price, I see that you've been a member for all of 1 week. Now, I'm not normally one to question the validity of a newcomer's post based on their longevity at FR, or the lack thereof in this case, but I do have to wonder a bit at your motives for putting this post up. I believe most muslims, christians, & jews have much more in common than they do in difference, and try to be more inclusive than exclusive. Your post seems to be just the opposite, and that rubs me the wrong way. Just my 2 cents.
