Was throwing the first baseball at the World Series "showing off?" How about cutting brush at the ranch?

Whether he's at a baseball game or cutting brush at his ranch, there's always another guy standing just a few steps away whose only duty is to carry a little piece of luggage in case of an emergency. Where is there room for this guy and his "football" on this flight?

The plane is a four-seater. There will the pilot, co-pilot, amd a Secret Service agent, besides the President. I assume one of those will be carrying the football.

Or do you just automatically assume that he would neglect his duty?

Actually Willie, I wouldn't be surprised if an SS man, a former S-3B Viking pilot, if you will, was actually going to pilot this aircraft. Wouldn't surprise me at all.
