Dianne Feinstein Introduces .50 ban in U.S. Senate

Senator Dianne Feinstein has once again introduced a Senate bill that would essentially ban 50 caliber rifles, similar to federal bans on machine guns.
Feinstein is joined by the usual cast of gun banners, including Schumer (D-NY), Lautenberg (D-NJ), Kennedy (D-MA), Corzine (D-NJ), Durbin (D-IL) and Levin (D-MI).
Feinstein's efforts seeks to scare the public with all manner of exaggerations about the rifles, including the suggestion that the guns can hit targets from 4 miles away.
Feinstein's press release announcing the bill failed to mention that these rifles have been around for nearly 20 years and have never once been used to kill a single person in the U.S. Instead, she attempts to demonize and create fear in the minds of those unfamiliar with our firearms and 50 caliber target shooting, to further her agenda of banning guns.
As credible threats to public safety, .50 caliber rifles rank tied with Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and the Easter Bunny, all of which are tied to 0 fatalities in the U.S.
Fifty Caliber Shooters' Policy Institute will continue to aggressively oppose Senator Feinstein's attempts to demonize and ban .50 caliber rifles.

"It's also a good self-defense gun" It's always been my contention that the best home self-defense weapon is a twelve gauge with double "0"s, and I've never seen anything that would make me change my mind.
It will open doors and walls without the need to find out who or what is behind them.
It sounds more exotic to say that you plugged an intruder with your handgun with three shots between the eyes, but with a twelve gauge and double "0"s he won't have any eyes left or a place to put them.
I've been looking at a sawed off ten gauge auto for that purpose.

The difference here, Eaker, is that the .50 doesn't have any wood to blow apart, and you know what that means!

If Dianne succeeds in getting the ban in place, does that mean she and wealthy govt grubbing husband will get the contract to destroy the weapons? Old Dianne's out big UNO so there's got to be a gain for her and her wealthy govt-contracting grubbing hubby.

Hey, I just got myself a Romanian SAR-1, a dozen mags, and 1K rounds of ammo. When do you wanna go shootin'? As if you have to ask me twice? I want to check that thing out ASAP for sure. Whenever you can get here the "southblocks" are calling. :)

Rika, I fired 30 rounds through it day before yesterday. It "shoves" hard, but you will love the power of that thing.Ok, I am ready then. The only request from my parent is that I be healed enough for the dive trip in June. I did tell her that I thought I would good for diving. LOL

Senator Foreskin is an A**Hole.
Didn't she get caught with an unregistered pistol at one time?
To: Rasputin_TheMadMonk
Well, I guess, in that case, I will vote according to my conscience, too. And buy more ammo.

The rest of us must dial 911, pray the police answer, pray they show up, and pray they don't shoot us if they eventually do. Speak for yourself. Wisconsin law prohibits concealed carry, so I don't. But it does NOT prohibit having a firearm nearby, so I do. And I don't intend to call 911 first---only later, to pick up the perp's body.

All parts were ordered during the Florida recount. Yeah, funny how many people were busy out in their garages during that period. Time well-spent:

"Quigley did use a 45.110." Aw, heck!
There's nothing like facts to screw up a fantasy!
Well, I didn't buy it because of Quigley, anyway.
It just felt good!
