NOT FOR THE first time, the fractious Bush administration is putting its own silly quarrels ahead of a determined response to the most serious threat to American security -- nuclear weapons in North Korea. The quarrel is worrisome because it involves a proposal from the Donald Rumsfeld-Dick Cheney camp that could easily escalate to full-scale war -- an embargo on North Korean movement of weapons and illegal drugs on the high seas.

North Korea is a grave problem for those not afraid to pursue aggressive diplomacy backed by a credible threat of force.
So, we can't embargo them or deter them from successfully exporting weapons or drugs because that "could easily escalate to a full-scale-war", but if we use "aggressive diplomacy with a credible threat of force" that will have a kumbaya outcome... What a twit..
