What's Joseph Heller think about it?
He thinks it's a catch-22: if we go into war, we're accused of brashly forgoing diplomacy to lengthen our nation's collective penis. If we ignore it, we're accused (like we were about OBL and 9/11) by the liberal left of political stagnation and myopia because we were "too /weak/stupid/powerless/mean/evil/selfish/out of touch to forsee it, and we had it coming anyway." According to the Left, either choice in the dilemma immediately validates the reason why we should have chose the opposite. These guys need to take Critical Reasoning, 101.
And yes, I bet Joseph Heller would have some words to say about war, but who cares, he's dead.
