Oh, no!!! We can't have the legal community thinking fetuses are (gasp) human beings with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness like everyone else!! Why, that would be disasterous! /heavy on the sarcasm/

Planned Parenthood wants to make President Bush out to the devil, nothing could be further from the truth. He respects life and wants to give the innocent silent voices a voice that can be heard. Women who are for abortion are self absorbed people who do not know what it is to give/sale that child to a couple who long for a child. Instead they wish to have the arms, legs and head sucked off so they do not have to worry about their choice.

That is what we have become, a nation of spoiled people who do not care about the life of the innocent. Yet they fear someone like Bush who is strong in his convictions.

The only harsher words in my vocabulary I would reserve for the males, who view this ghastly vivesection of their children as their "get out of [responsibility] free" card. Often, it is their refusal, their irresponsibility, their [here words fail me], that leaves the mothers of their children feeling alone and without options, except for this horrid and appalling one.

I recall liberal talk show host Tom Leykis boasting about how responsible he was — because he'd paid for his "girlfriend's" abortion. It is not a proud thing to be categorized in the same sex as this soulless slug.

I've twice posted to you "women's" groups that are in panic mode over the threat President Bush poses to abortion. You say no worries, the President can't do anything.

The President cant save many babies by himself. Im shocked. Dont you know the "women's" groups are merely pretending to be in a panic mode so they can gin up public contributions. DOnt you realize this is the same thing that Judicical Watch or some of the Pro Life groups will do. Scare the crap out of their devotees to send them even more money to fight the Devil and NARAL. Thats why there are never any compromises, both groups want the issue for use in raising more funds. Sometimes you wonder if they lose sight of why they are fighting.

Now that Ive answered your stupid question, please tell me your estimate of how many abortions were eliminated by restoring the global gag rule on international family planning assistance, eliminating contraceptive coverage for federal employees, and closing the White House Office for Women's Initiatives and Outreach. Did it reach 500? 1000? Give it your best shot.

Should he have done these things. Yes with the possible exception of eliminating contraceptive coverage for federal employees. Was it any more than sympbolism, hell no.

My answer to your stupid question: I don't know, and it doesn't matter that I know. How many lives have been saved by laws against murder? How many thefts prevented by law against theft? Would you propose repealing those laws because we don't (and cant) have those stats? Would you say it doesn't matter whether or not, say, a Presidential candidate favored legalizing all murder, because we don't and can't know those stats? What a foolish progression. You don't seem to understand the role of law in society.

You are clueless. If you think NARL or NOW or Planned Parenthood are quaking in their boots, you are the one deluded. The above named organizations are ca-chinging their cash registers as they scare more young females to throw away their hard earned dollars to support their right to an abortion. Its all about the money and to a lesser extent political power. Nothing that Bush has done has changed significantly any woman's ability to get an abortion. Those dreaded three actions you refused to comment on may have stopped a handful of abortions. They are feel good victories for you and fund raising victories for your enemies.
