What ever became of Graham-Rhudman budget defecit reduction law? Wasn't that the mechanism that was supposed to automatically force accross the board federal budget cuts?(a cut is not a reduction in future growth, it is a reduction in current spending levels)

Greenspan was VERY strong today in his support for the repeal on the double taxation of dividends! The DemoncRATs tried to get him to take back his prior statements in all kinds of ways and he wouldn't budge! The libs were even suggesting that since tax cuts for the rich would benefit small business so significantly didn't that rule out the need for the cut on dividend taxes & Greenspan said, no, that the cuts on high income tax rates was like a cut on the dividend tax for small business and that big business needs the dividend tax repeal as well!

Graham-Rudman expired in the 80's - it was purely a DemoncRAT conceived structure designed to limit Reagan's ability to cut taxes and reign in spending disguised as deficit reduction.
