He was the prototype mad scientist. But he was as famous in his day as was Edison. After his death just after WW2, the Feds confiscated all his papers and research. Some claim the HAARP station in Alaska was built using his ideas.

BTW, I first learned about Tesla on an older thread on this website a couple years back.
