It's hard to get into the armed services if you're diagnosed with it.

As the saying goes, "Tell it to the Marines!"

I was ADHD (yes, I actually NEEDED to take Ritalin for three years) in elementary school, and I served eight years in the Marine Corps.

Do you know if there are ANY restrictions put on people who took Ritalin as a child? I have heard that a person can't be a pilot in the Armed Forces if they have that in their history. This has been another reason I have fought so hard against medication. I don't want to put limits on what he can do in the future.
