Not from me! If I was 15 right now, instead of 61, I would be forced by the very teachers that bored the sh!t out of me to take unwanted and harmful meds. Fortunately, I was not subjected to that particular form of child abuse.

I readily admit my problems as a child. I still find it difficult to concentrate on some things for any great length of time. I AM capable of watching TV (and keeping up with the plot), talking on the phone (and keeping up with the conversation) typing on the comuter (and making some sense) and listening to Rush (as I am right now).

My niece has decided that her little darling son is afflicted with ADD/ADHD/CNN/ABC/CBS/FBI/CIA or whatever. After seeing the little bastard operate, I came to the immediate conclusion he needed his butt walloped.

Well, she hit him with Ritalin and others. But when he still acted the same, she tried my remedy. He is now a pretty good kid (for a mean little turd)! That is just the way he is. He will, in all likelihood, be a mass murderer by age 25. But he doesn't have any alphabet malady.
