The joke really is on the Dems. I watch a lot of Univision and Telemundo (My wife is Cuban). Everybody knows that the Cubans are conservative (the younger generation less so). What they don't realize is that the "hispanics" are more conservative than assumed. I hate to paint with a broad brush, but they work very hard, are extremely family oriented, love the U.S for the opportunity that it gives them, and are staunch Catholics who have no tolerance for same sex marriage or abortions (to a lesser degree).

The Estrada mess is getting big exposure on Spanish TV. He is a hero to a lot of South and Central Americans. He came here at 17(?), learned the language, went to Harvard, and became a distinguished Jurist. That is what most "Hispanic" immigrants want for their children. To see the Dems deny him is really pi$$ing them off.

That is VERY important news.

You are using far too broad a brush. I truly don't know about the Cuban people - but I do know about the Mexicans who have come here illegally in the last few years and who will be made citizens by hook or by crook by our President. Family-oriented - some - not all by any means. Staunch Catholics - some - not all - love for the US - for the largest majority - it is the love the US dollar and the freebies we give them. Nothing more and nothing less. Just not the case. Respect for our laws or the American citizens 0 - may 10%.

I live and work in a community that is probably 98% hispanic. I have yet to hear one hispanic mention Estrada. However, they talk a great deal about their novelas.

These people are always conservative when it is their money. However, when it is your money, they line the ERs.

I suggest you take a look at the red and blue map. The hispanic population has voted for the Democrats and for abortion for years. Besides that they have a very high drop-out rate in highschool.
