"Doraville, just a country in the city!" I thought that lyric was:
"Doraville, a little country in the city....
Doraville, it ain't much but it's home!"
(Atlanta Rhythm Section)

"Doraville, just a country in the city!" "Doraville, touch of country in the city!"
I lived 2 miles from Doraville in the '60s when this song was king.
It was a little town full of 'good ole boys' that just became another signpost of never-ending Atlanta up Buford Hwy near Chamblee.
It retained some of it's rural feel....thus a touch of countey even though it was nestled smack-dab in the "Big A".

You could very well be right about that lyric! I went for years thinking that "New Attitude" by Patti Labelle said "New Pair of Shoes"!
Neon Nights was the best ARS song. :-)

(The WE? It's "WE the people". You know, of "In order to form a more perfect union" fame)
