Whatever you do; do not MACE the squirrel. I have a very funny story of one of my fellow police officers who did MACE a squirrel in a citizen's house.
Reads like a Hollywood comedy script.

You just have to be a sailor to get it.

You just have to be a sailor to get it.

And not the kind that just puts a boat in the water on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Yep, I did my best to avoid the waterways on the weekends when I was on my "off time" in Florida.
Did the Travis McGee thing for a year..take your retirement when you have the money to do it!

Stay Safe

Kept one of my sailboats, a Newport 30, at Waterford and Portofino for a couple of years. As a lot of folks have said; if you can sail Galveston Bay, you can sail anywhere.

Stay Safe.

Good boats. Add groceries, fill the tanks, cross oceans.

Poison .....heck no ! Then I wind up tearing out a wall getting the dead carcass out . The tube trap/snare sounds promising though. Much rather give it a long ride to a different town and freedom but s/he hasn't been back after the last little 7.9 gr .177 wadcutter to the hiney !

Stay Safe !!

There are poisons that will drive the critter insane looking for a drink of water.

Just leave a tub of H2O handy where you want to collect the rodent's corpse.
