Franken is increasingly paranoid, delusional, psychotic, and grotesquely un-funny.
Many famous comedians are bipolar: hypomanic (up-beat, intensely euphoric) with escalating depressive tendencies as they age. Think Robin Williams, Steve Martin, and Woody Allen.
Franken is quite different; he seems obviously delusional and increasingly unstable. Franken is potentially dangerous in my view. A restraining order is not out of place with such a very sick person.

Al Frankenweenie reminds me of Bill Maher: if either had as much talent, as they think that they have intelligence, they would be ranked among the most talented entertainers.

I'd argue that Steve Martin hasn't done anythin more than mature.
Nobody wants to see a 50-year old man with an arrow through his head.
Now Akroyd...that I'd buy.

They are all right brained idiots that can't handle simple logic and see everything as an emotional struggle.
Getting a spanking at age 10 turns into child abuse and they are scarred for life. You have to worry about people that, as a group, have a population around 80-90% that say they were "abused" as children or thought high school was like growing up in the Soviet gulag.
Every little life problem gets bloated into a giant issue in their minds. And they are some of the stupidest people in our country that have a talent but let vanity destroy their happiness.
Drugs, multiple marriages, bad business decisions, greed and lavish spending, having kids with many partners, divorce, excess...it's all there with the vast majority of them.
This is why they need "directors" in their profession.
The saddest thing to me is they let the ones they profess to love to die young deaths. If all those people like Dan Ackroyd truely loved John Belushi, why didn't they stop him from his self-destruction. To see them after his death mourn is the ultimate hypocrisy and I'll never consider them humans for that type of thinking. Belushi is just the best example of the entire business.
Pitiful.

He is supposed to be a "recovering" alcoholic.
Maybe he fell off the water wagon.
