Well, the worst news I can imagine about SARS is in the NEJM link from Mene above:

SARS has spread rapidly because during the incubation period, which appears to be between 1 day and 11 days, with a median of about 5 days, patients can transmit the disorder to others.

During the incubation period! When there are NO symptoms!
